Art of the Forest: A new piece travels to the de Young Museum
Dear Visitor, I am excited to announce one of my recent works for the year 2023 was selected to be featured in the de Young’s Open 2023 Exhibition. The work is entitled “Pearl Forest” and is an experimental piece which invites viewers to explore an intimate forest scene on a number of levels, with its interplay of forms, weather, atmosphere, color and mysterious devices.
The de Young Open 2023, the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco’s second triennial juried community art exhibition, features work by artists from the nine Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano, and Sonoma. Artworks are hung salon-style and installed nearly edge to edge and floor to ceiling in the de Young museum’s Herbst Exhibition Galleries, maximizing the number of works on view.
Pearl Forest is listed under Artwork #: 384 in the de Young’s Herbst Exhibition Gallery.
The exhibition runs from September 30, 2023 – January 7, 2024.

Wild Forest Art Exhibition
Dear Visitor, the Wild Forest art exhibition will be traveling to the Stinson Beach Library!
You are cordially invited to attend this free event at the Stinson Beach Library, located at 3521 Shoreline Highway Stinson Beach CA 94970.
The show will be on from April 1st thru April 29th 2023. An artist talk will be held on Saturday April 8th at 2PM.
Feel free to stop by any time the library is normally open throughout the month of April 2023 to view the Wild Forest art exhibit.

You are cordially invited to attend a special exhibition of my artwork of the forest opening at the San Francisco Public Library, Main Branch. Located at 100 Larkin St, San Francisco, CA 94102.
The exhibition will run from April 16th 2022 to July 31st 2022.
I will be giving an artist’s talk on Saturday, April 16th 2022 located at the Main Library, Latino/Hispanic Community Room.
